BLACK SHEEP COFFEE GIFT CARD TERMS AND CONDITIONS
These terms and conditions apply to all Black Sheep Coffee Gift Cards that are purchased from us. They govern the relationship between Black Sheep Coffee (“we” or “us”), you, the purchaser of the Black Sheep Coffee Gift Card and any person on whose behalf you purchase a Black Sheep Coffee Gift Card or to whom you transfer your Black Sheep Coffee Gift Card as permitted by these Terms and Conditions.
These Terms and Conditions override any statements on the Black Sheep Coffee Gift Card if they are different. You must therefore read them carefully. If there is anything you do not understand, please contact orders@leavetheherdbehind.com
Purchasing a Black Sheep Coffee Gift Card
The minimum amount required to activate a card is £5
All Black Sheep Coffee Gift Cards are issued by, and remain the property of, Black Sheep Coffee • 2nd Floor • Crowne House • 56-58 Southwark St • London SE1 1UN
Using a Black Sheep Coffee Gift Card
You may give any Black Sheep Coffee Gift Card that you purchase from us to any third party, who may use them in accordance with these Terms and Conditions. You may not sell a Black Sheep Coffee Gift Card or use a Black Sheep Coffee Gift Card in any sales or promotional activities including as give aways or prizes in competitions without our prior written consent.
You are responsible for ensuring that any person to whom you transfer a Black Sheep Coffee Gift Card is made aware of these Terms and Conditions and complies with them.
Black Sheep Coffee Gift Cards can be used at any participating Black Sheep Coffee outlet in England but cannot be used online at https://leavetheherdbehind.com/
When the card is used the amount of the purchase will be deducted from the balance on the card. The remaining balance may be applied to future purchases. Change will not be given.
You will be required to top up any outstanding money owed to online purchases that are not covered by the balance on the gift card.
The Black Sheep Coffee Gift Card is not a credit card, charge card or debit card. Black Sheep Coffee Gift Cards cannot be exchanged for cash. Refunds will not be given for the purchase of a Black Sheep Coffee Gift Card.
A balance from a Black Sheep Coffee Gift Card cannot be transferred to a Black Sheep Coffee Online Gift Card and a balance on an Black Sheep Coffee Online Gift Card cannot be transferred to a Black Sheep Coffee Gift Card.
We reserve the right to refuse to accept damaged cards of cards that we believe may have been stolen of obtained in another illegal way.
Purchasing a Black Sheep Coffee Gift Card and Balance
Black Sheep Coffee Gift Cards can be purchased through the Black Sheep Coffee e-commerce platform https://gifts.leavetheherdbehind.com/
The amount assigned to the card is selected by you at the point of order. It is important that you retain the purchase receipt to prove the Black Sheep Coffee card has been purchased in accordance with the above condition and to verify the amount purchased.
The balance on the card is available when making a purchase, and is shown on the original gift card email received.
You can also check the balance by visiting https://gifts.leavetheherdbehind.com/balance and entering the code and pin as shown on your email received or on the physical card itself.
You can are see the balance of your Gift Card when entering the gift card code at checkout in "Gift Card" box.
The balance can be checked in store at any participating Black Sheep Coffee outlet.
When purchasing a Black Sheep Coffee Gift Card, you will have the opportunity to send to someone as a gift by forwarding the email with a personalised message to the recipient.
We take no liability for messages that is or is likely to be considered by any person to be defamatory, offensive, obscene, abusive, hateful, threatening, discriminatory, inflammatory, harmful, sexually explicit, deceptive, fraudulent, infringing of intellectual property rights or in any way unlawful.
Delivery of Online Gift Cards
Black Sheep Coffee Digital Gift Cards shall be sent to your email address on your account after you have placed your order.
You are solely responsible for accuracy of the information provided by you when you place your order and we have no liability to you in the event that your Gift Card is delivered to the incorrect email address.
We have no liability to you for the late or non-delivery of any Black Sheep Coffee Gift Card in circumstances where the late or non-delivery of the Gift Card arises from an interruption to or failure of your computer equipment (or any other electronic device), your internet connection or your ability to receive emails.
Returning Purchases made on your Gift Card
If you use a Black Sheep Coffee Gift Card to purchase goods and you subsequently return the goods, any refund due to you will be made back onto the original Gift Card.
Expiration and Cancellation
The Black Sheep Coffee Gift Card and balance on it will expire if the card is not used after 12 months. We reserve the right to cancel any Black Sheep Coffee Gift Cards if we suspect it is being used fraudulently or in breach of the Terms and Conditions. Please note, if you received your Black Sheep Coffee Gift Card through a campaign or promotion expiry dates may vary.
Loss, Theft, Damage
Black Sheep Coffee Gift Cards should be treated like cash. Black Sheep Coffee is not responsible for lost or stolen cards. Any loss, theft, fraudulent or unauthorised use of a Black Sheep Coffee Gift Card should be reported immediately to Black Sheep Coffee. If a Black Sheep Coffee Gift Card is lost, stolen, damaged or malfunctions, we may, at our discretion, replace that Black Sheep Coffee Gift Card and transfer the balance stored on it to a replacement card. Circumstances in which we may determine not to replace a Black Sheep Coffee Gift Card include where we reasonably believe that the notified incident has been caused by a breach of these Terms and Conditions or where there are reasonable grounds for suspecting that the cardholder is or has been engaged in fraudulent or other unlawful conduct.
For any lost, stolen or damaged card you must notify Black Sheep Coffee and present a valid receipt for the original purchase. We cannot replace any lost, stolen or damaged card without a valid receipt. A copy of the purchase receipt is to be sent to orders@leavetheherdbehind.com
If we agree to replace a Black Sheep Coffee Gift Card, a replacement card will be delivered to the original delivery address or original email delivery address, unless instruction is given by the customer that placed the original order, to send it to a different one. The card will usually be dispatched within 5 working days of Customer Services being notified of the incident. We reserve the right to charge a replacement card fee for each replacement card in respect of which more than two replacement cards are requested within any 6-month period.
If a Black Sheep Coffee Gift Card that has been reported lost or stolen is subsequently found or retrieved, please contact https://contactus.leavetheherdbehind.com/ immediately.
Black Sheep Loyalty Points
Purchases made with Black Sheep Coffee Gift Cards in participating Black Sheep Coffee outlets will be eligible to earn Black Sheep Coffee loyalty points. Please ensure that the Black Sheep Coffee loyalty point card is presented or you are checked in to the Black Sheep loyalty App in the usual way when the purchased is made. Black Sheep Coffee points cannot be used to purchase Black Sheep Coffee Gift Cards. Black Sheep Coffee Points cannot be earned when you purchase a Black Sheep Coffee Gift Card. Environmental Credentials
Black Sheep Coffee Cards are 100% degradable. Removing single use products from the business is a core aim. You understand that your gift card may start to degrade overtime. Should the card start to perish and can no longer be read by the digital reader, you are to present a valid purchase receipt to orders@leavetheherdbehind.com and a replacement card, with the current value will be sent to you, usually within 5 working days. You agree that if a replacement card is required the postage and packaging will be paid by you.
Resale/Use in Promotions
Black Sheep Coffee Gift Card may not be sold without Black Sheep Coffee’s prior written consent. Black Sheep Coffee Gift Cards may not be in sales or promotional activities including as give away or prizes in competitions without prior written consent of Black Sheep Coffee. Black Sheep Coffee reserves the right to cancel any Black Sheep Coffee Gift Card that it suspects has been resold or obtained in connection with an unauthorised or promotional activity.

Data Protection and Privacy
When purchasing your Black Sheep Coffee Gift Card through the Black Sheep Coffee e-commerce platform, we will require certain personal information, including the name, address and contact details of the cardholder. We are committed to maintaining the security of such personal information in accordance with the requirements of the Data Protection Act and will take all reasonable steps to ensure that such personal data is kept secure against unauthorised access, loss, disclosure or destruction. The Black Sheep Coffee Privacy Policy (available at orders@leavetheherdbehind.com. com) will apply to any personal information provided to us and is incorporated by reference into these Terms and Conditions.
Liability or Black Sheep Coffee Limited
Black Sheep Coffee shall not be liable for any loss or damage arising from or in connection with the use of a Black Sheep Coffee Gift Card where such loss or damage arises from any cause beyond our reasonable control. Where any loss or damage arises from a cause within our control, our liability to you shall not exceed a sum equal to the balance on the relevant card as at the date that such loss or damage occurs. This clause shall not exclude or limit any liability that cannot be excluded or limited by law.
Variation
We reserve the right to amend or waive any provision of these Terms and Conditions from time to time or to terminate the Black Sheep Coffee service on reasonable notice.
The Terms and Conditions applicable to the use of a Black Sheep Coffee Gift Card shall at any time be the Terms and Conditions published on the Black Sheep Coffee website. Continued use of a Black Sheep Coffee Gift card will constitute acceptance of such terms and conditions.
Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by English law.
