Sourced from the mineral rich soils along the Bhadra river and producing intense chocolatey flavours, there was no hesitation in picking this bean as our house espresso. The world's first specialty grade robusta bean in the world, Robusta Revival is our pride and joy. This farm has been in Nishant’s family for over 250 years and it was he who decided to dedicate the entire farm to growing high quality robusta beans. Grown under native shade trees, we’ve slow roasted these beans to create a smooth and full-bodied cup, perfectly suited to those who love espresso based drinks.

Grown in Colombia, our Rebel Decaf beans can certainly keep up with our caffeinated beans in the taste department. Well balanced with notes of milk chocolate and malt, this decaf bean is full of flavour. How have we managed to get such a great tasting decaf bean where so many others lack that full flavour we love? It’s prepared using the Swiss water method (process of applying only fresh water to naturally remove the caffeine – with no nasty chemicals in sight). The perfect bean to enjoy when you’re grabbing a late afternoon coffee or simply for its great taste.

Everyone’s tastes are different so play around with your recipes to find what suits you best but here is a great starting point:


Espresso: 1:2 ratio of coffee to water
V60: 16g coffee to 240g water
Aeropress: 16g coffee to 240g water
Chemex: 32g coffee to 500g water
French Press: 60-65g coffee to 1 litre water

Our ground coffee in the Love Berries, Rebel Decaf, Bossa Nova and Blue Volcano is a general-purpose grind, which is suitable for all styles of filter coffee (e.g. cafetiere, drip, v60, Aeropress...), but for best results, we don't advise using it in espresso machines. Our ground Robusta Revival, on the other hand, is specifically ground for Moka pots or espresso machines at home - due to the nature of the coffee, we don't advise using it in paper filter methods.
